It is meant to be worn on a loose fit, and just a little fitting as the child grows.

If the child is 4m to 1 YO, take size 6-12M
If the child is 1 to 2+ YO , take size 1-2Y
If the child is 3 to 4+ YO , take size 3-4Y
If the child is 5 to 6+ YO, take size 5-6Y
If the child is 7 to 8+ YO take size 7-8Y
